My Story

I am a Massage Therapist and Holistic Healer. I fully believe in the healing power of touch, especially when paired with an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, natural supplements, essential oils and advanced Massage and body work techniques.  However, when energetic healing and intuitive abilities are added into the mix, the opportunities for healing are enhanced synergistically. That's what I bring to the table. 

I have always been an empathetic healer for as far back as I can remember. While giving a massage I have the ability to tune into the body and sense where the physical and emotional pain is stored. This gift appears to make the process of finding and dissolving away tension knots and problem areas much faster and more complete. People often tell me they feel particularly relaxed and calm during our sessions. It is my belief that the combination of energetic healing and the intuitive custom massage techniques that I use create an optimal healing environment.

I believe the most important quality that a massage therapist can possess is the ability to tune into what their clients are experiencing. First of all, really listening to what the client shares about their issues before the massage begins. Then continuing to listen to what the client shares throughout the session verbally, and even more importantly, what their body communicates is the key. Is the ability to read the body considered a psychic gift or some type of magic? Perhaps it could be described as such, or maybe it just feels that way. Regardless of what someone calls this skill, it can take your massage experience to the next level.  

My educational background is in art and psychology. My bachelors degree is in Art and my masters degree is in Art Therapy. I worked for many years as an art therapist and later as a psychiatrist case manager. I always knew my empathic and intuitive abilities helped me to better understand what my clients were dealing with and help them. However, in my roles as an Art Therapist and later Psychiatric Case manager I also knew that in many ways my hands were tide, because I had to work within the Western Medical Model, where pharmaceutical intervention always seemed to be considered the first and most appropriate solution to a variety of issues.  

About 24 years ago I studied Reiki, initially just as a curiosity and side hobby. However, I fell in love with this practice and continued my training all the way up to the Master level. I started seeing a few clients on the side, and quickly recognized that I had more of a passion for this work than my "day job".  About 16 years ago I decided to leave the confines of the mental health system, go back to school for Massage and Holistic Health, and launched my own independent career as a Massage Therapist, Holistic Healer, Reiki Practitioner and Holistic advisor. I noticed that my abilities grew wings! I made this my full time career.

Although Massage Therapy obviously can only be done in person. As Reiki Master I have been offering healing sessions both in person and remotely. As an unexpected bi-product of opening up to energetic healing, my intuitive psychic abilities became much more apparent and focused as I made use of my healing gifts. After a few years of doing Reiki energy healings and readings I added Angel Card readings to the mix of tools I offered to people, and got very positive feedback from my clients. I started offerings readings over the phone for some of my own private clients and then via Keen for several years with 5 star ratings. Although I am not currently offering my services through Keen, I am available to book a combination Reiki and Healing with the Angels Oracle Card Reading session directly. We can do this in person or over the phone. The nice thing about phone sessions is you can enjoy the benefits from the privacy of your own home. 

My intention has always been to come from a place of love and to really help people on their journey toward wellness; to facilitate the healing process; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I use the healing power of touch, as well as answer questions and give advice in regard pretty much any area of life including love and relationships, spiritual path, career, energy blocks, health and well-being. My intention is to empower my clients to heal from pain, grow and take an active role to manifest the life they desire. I sincerely hope I can be of service to you on your healing journey. Whether this takes the form of massage therapy, reiki healing, holistic life coaching or an oracle card reading, my intention is always to facilitate healing, alleviate pain and suffering, and assist in the process of manifesting the life my clients desire.

In person sessions may be paid in person at the time of service via cash, Venmo, or Credit Card through Square. Remote services are available over the phone, and need to be pre-paid via Venmo, PayPal or possibly other agreed upon methods.
